Role Overview
An exciting opportunity has become available in the Lakeland Dairies Soil Sampling Programme from December/January 2021.
Key Responsibilities
- Corresponding with farmers, making appointments, and taking soil samples on farms
- Preparing samples and sending to the labs
- Keeping record of where and when samples were taken including cropping and manuring routines
Essential Requirements
- Must have a full driver’s licence (mileage allowance to be provided)
- Hard working and determined
Timeframe
As the project is time dependent, work must be carried out between December and February. The candidate must be prepared to travel around County Antrim and Down. The Duration of the Role is flexible but for approximately 4 – 8 weeks.
Full training and equipment will be provided prior to commencement. The position is a paid temporary placement at a rate of £8.91/hour.
