Problem solve and protect your products with CAFRE

January 31, 2024

CAFRE Loughry Campus is holding two short courses which may be of interest to food processors and manufacturers. The Root Cause Analysis (RCA) course is being held on 29th February while Exploring Food Vulnerability (TACCP, VACCP and Food Defence) is being held on 21st March 2024 at CAFRE Loughry Campus, located just outside Cookstown.

These full day courses, running from 9:30am to 4pm, aim to help local food businesses better understand the concepts of root cause analysis and protecting food products from intentional adulteration.

Practical problem solving and identifying the root cause of a problem is vital for any food manufacturer to eliminate potential customer complaints but also to operate an efficient business. The RCA one day course offered by CAFRE aims to provide attendees with a logical method to solve problems that they may encounter within their business.

Protecting food brands from intentional contamination and fraud are key consumer demands in the food industry. Food businesses need to risk assess their processes and raw materials to understand where they could be exposed. The course offered by CAFRE hopes to help food companies understand the options for risk assessment but also offer practical guidance on how to implement measures to reduce the potential for food fraud within their business. Full details and registration for both courses can be found here:
