General farm worker

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our family livestock and renewable business. We farm over 1500 head of beef finishing cattle, grass and arable land, and own and operate an anaerobic digester. You will also work alongside the farm manager to achieve high standards of animal performance and welfare.
The role:
Main tasks will include feeding of TMR to beef herd, silage clamp management, bedding, and helping out with general livestock and yard work.
The successful candidate will be a multifunctional person who is flexible enough to carry out a number of different jobs around the farm. Someone who has excellent tractor driving skills, a passion for stock and an eye for attention to detail is what the farm requires. The ability to show initiative and work as part of a team is also necessary for the role.
The applicant:
- Experience with tractor driving and use of machinery.
- Full UK Driving license.
- Over 21 years of age for insurance purposes.
- Competent with livestock
- Reliable, keen and enthusiastic
- Attention to detail, self-motivated and able to work with others.
You will be required to work on a 11 on 3 off rota basis. In return for your efforts, we offer a highly competitive salary.
