NPD Technologist

Job summary

Genesis Bakery in Magherafelt is seeking to recruit a NPD Technologist for a temporary 12 month period.  You will  be an integral part of a team working on new product design and development processes, from inception to completion.

As a NPD technologist you will work collaboratively with cross functional teams to deliver exciting new concepts for major retailers including M&S & Tesco.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:
Graduate in Food Technology or similar science related degree and a minimum of 3 months experience within a food manufacturing role.

Genesis Bakery has been manufacturing artisanal, high quality baked goods since 1968. The annual turnover is in excess of £20m with a workforce of over 200. Our products are sold in more than 500 stores across Northern Ireland and we also produce a range of bread and cakes for many of the UK’s largest and most prestigious retailers.
